Dracula Vampira Orchid
When I first saw this flower I
Could not believe my eyes!!!
Based on the name I expected
Something much more sinister !!
One day I felt like painting my own
Interpretation of what I in visioned
Any flower with the name
Dracula Vampira to look like
People grow orchids for many
reasons, perhaps for the
challenge, the mystique or the
infinite variety which comprises the
orchid family. There are orchids
that are aesthetically pleasing to
nearly everyone's distinctive tastes.
Some are appealing for their
striking beauty, elegant form, or
brilliant color. Others appeal for
reasons less tangible such as their
bizarre shape, fanciful nature or an
almost ethereal allure. The species in
the genus Dracula fall into this latter group.
Their grotesque beauty has
fascinated orchidists for over a
century.
